Sad news to report

As we start down the 2010 season, we first pause for some sad news. NKCA umpire and coach, Scott Kelso, "Coach K" passed away this weekend of a heart attack. He was 44. Scott was an umpire for several years and last year turned to coaching the Fall Stars. This upcoming season he was looking to head the KC Bulldogs. He will be sorely missed. The NKCA family extends our deepest condolances to the Kelso family at this time. More information about services and how you can help the family can be found here.

The NKCA Season Starts at Dicks

It's no secret that we're big fans of buying our baseball equipment at Dick's Sporting Goods. Their slogan is "Every Season Starts at Dicks," well, this year, the NKCA 2010 Summer Season actually DOES start at Dicks. Dicks Sporting Goods in Zona Rosa has been our host for the past several years for sign-ups and contract turn ins. Every year, they provide teams with gear, water bottles, helmets and valuable coupons. 65th Year Celebration - May 1

NKCA 65th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION - MAY 1 - AJ WILSON SPORTS COMPLEX

Make plans to attend the NKCA's 65th Birthday Party - May 1, 2010. Details are TBD, but there will be great food, fun and BASEBALL!! If you've got a game that day, come up early.
